Congratulations on your decision to breastfeed! Breastfeeding is the best thing that you can do for your baby. The benefits to breastfeeding are countless and the experience is also so rewarding.
Though breastfeeding is a very natural process, it may not come natural to many moms. Sometimes a little extra help and education is needed and that is where Healthy Baby and Mom comes in. During your very short hospital stay, your are receiving lots and lots of new information and may or may not see a lactation consultant during that time. When you get home, you may realize you have many breastfeeding questions yet may not have someone there to help.
Healthy Baby and Mom provides lacation support through all stages of breastfeeding from newborns to toddlers. We can provide phone consultations or home visits to help with any problems that may arise. We can also simply provide any reinforcement you may need just to verify that you and baby are on the right track.
